Georgia Piggot wins Best Student Paper Award from the Environment Research Cluster of the Canadian Sociological Association for her work, “Getting to Zero: Organizational Responses to British Columbia’s Carbon Neutral Policy.”



The Canadian Sociological Association has awarded our grad student Georgia Piggot for her extraordinary research into carbon neutral policy. The paper consists of a section of her PhD thesis in progress. Congratulations for representing UBC Socioloy so well!

She will be presenting her findings on Wednesday June 1st at the CSA annual conference.
