4th year sociology student Ryley Humphry has received a Carl Bradford Robertson Scholarship! This is one of the Premier Undergraduate Scholarships. UBC awards only 10 of these scholarships to a student body of 39,000+ students annually. This is about the biggest academic recognition the university can give to an undergraduate student.
Up to ten Killam Research Prizes are awarded annually at UBC. They are given to full-time faculty members in recognition of outstanding research and scholarly contributions. This is an extremely competitive process. Congratulations to Professor Richard Carpiano for this prestigious award!
